World Cup
Just a quick post about the World Cup. We did a sweepstake in our office of all 32 countries and I got Saudi Arabia.
This is good yes?
There's a lot of money at stake for the winner, runner up, most goals etc (the sports department of the newsroom put the sweepstake together, wouldn't you know, it was very professional and everything was recorded in case there was any cheating) so I want to know if I'm in with a chance.
Also, what is this 'football' you all speak of?

I'm not sure what a sweep stake is but Saudi Arabia doesn't sound great to me.
If there is a prize for last place then you actually have one of the best teams :-)

Saudi Arabia, not the greatest choice in the world, though as Declan says if there is a prize for finishing last, you may be in with a shout.
Oh and this football we speak of is only the greatest game known to man or woman!!
A whole month of football, what more can one ask for??
